The Food for Thought Fundraiser raffle is administered by Sketch Development Services. The raffle will grant one lucky winner the opportunity to attend a Sketch Business Agility Bootcamp for any group of their choice between eight (8) and twenty-four (24) attendees. Raffle tickets can be emailed to Sketch at email@example.com for entry until 11:59 p.m. on May 31, 2020 after which the winning ticket (and winner) will be randomly selected on June 1, 2020. Please note, this raffle is for bootcamp fees only and does not cover travel, lodging, or meal expenses that may be incurred while attending the bootcamp.
The 10% training discount earned by a donating organization requires a minimum of four (4) attendees and a maximum of twenty-four (24) attendees. One (1) 10% training discount can be earned per organization. Please note, this discount is for training class fees only and does not cover travel, lodging, or meal expenses that may be incurred while attending the training.
In order to be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old and make a $25.00 USD minimum donation in support of the St. Louis Area Foodbank COVID-19 Relief Fund. To enter the raffle, a person must hold at least one raffle ticket, but may purchase multiple tickets for more chances to win. A ticket purchased by an ineligible person is void and cannot be a winning ticket. Each donor will earn an additional raffle entry for each $25 increment (for instance, a $50 donation results in two raffle entries, $75 results in three raffle entries, and so on). There is no limit to the amount you can donate or enter to win. Raffle will take place on April 24, 2020. The winning organization will be notified via email and will have until April 25, 2021 to schedule their Business Agility Bootcamp with Sketch.
The prize for this raffle is a Sketch Business Agility Bootcamp valued at $10,000. This raffle does not cover travel, lodging, or meal expenses that may be incurred while attending the bootcamp. The winner will be responsible for their own travel arrangements.
The raffle entry period will end at 11:59 p.m. on May 31, 2020 and the winner will be announced on June 1.2020. The winner will be chosen in a live random drawing using the Sketchtacts app and will be notified by phone and email.
Verification of Winner
All potential winners are subject to verification by Sketch Development Services, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the raffle. An entrant is not a winner, unless and until entrant’s eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete. Sketch Development Services will not accept photographs or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The potential winner will be notified by email or phone. Each potential prize winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (“Affidavit”) (except where prohibited), which must be received by Sketch Development Services within thirty (30) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/her prize. If a potential winner of the prize cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the Affidavit within the required time period (if applicable), or prize is returned as undeliverable, such potential winner forfeits the prize. In the event the prize winner is disqualified for any reason, Sketch Development Services will award the prize to an alternate winner by random drawing among all remaining eligible entries.
By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sketch Development Services and their respective subsidiary, and affiliate companies, supplies, distributors, and advertising/promotion agencies, as well as each such company’s officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Raffle or receipt, use, or misuse of any prize.
Except where prohibited, participation in the raffle constitutes winner’s consent to Sketch Development Services and its agents use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinion, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration. The winner’s name will be announced publicly unless the winner requests in writing that they wish their name to be kept private.
Sketch Development Services reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the raffle, or any part of it, if any fraud, or other factor beyond Sketch Development Service’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the raffle, as determined by Sketch Development Services in its sole discretion. In such event, Sketch Development Services reserves the right to award the prize at random from among eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sketch Development Services reserves the right, in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual, without compensation, it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the raffle or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the raffle may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sketch Development Services reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sketch Development Services’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. All necessary travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the winner.
