Job Description

Sketch Development is looking for a curious, self-driven extrovert for whom interacting with others is as critical to life as oxygen. Here’s a little about the person we believe could be the salt to our pepper.


  • 2+ years successfully selling consultative services
  • 2+ years successfully prospecting
  • Bonus points for:
    • Experience in a non-dysfunctional Agile environment would be useful (or experience in a dysfunctional non-Agile environment so you know the difference when you get here)
    • Experience with modern ALM systems (Jira, VersionOne, Rally, Azure DevOps, Target Process, etc.)
    • Agile coaching sales experience
    • Software development sales experience


  • Growing revenue
  • Meeting sales targets
  • Drawing sales opportunities to closure


  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects:
    • Leverage professional network
    • Attend industry events
    • Unearth referrals from within the Sketch team
    • Follow up with training attendees
    • Collaborating with Marketing to discover and investigate leads
  • Qualify prospects
  • Discover prospects’ pain points and develop solutions to those pain points that align with Sketch’s service capabilities
  • Coordinate with leadership and Sketch consultants to schedule meetings and presentations with prospective customers
  • Track sales activities
  • Close sales
  • Collaborate with Operations to arrange service delivery, onboard customers, and ensure customer success
  • Engage in social media
  • Attend scheduled engagement health checks
  • Provide feedback to Operations as it relates to structuring engagements
  • Transition new engagements to Customer Success
  • Apply emotional intelligence to turn customers into evangelists and repeat customers
